NOTE: In accordance with the FAIR CREDIT REPORTING ACT (Pre-Notification), I understand that as part of Downtown Inc.’s procedure for processing my application, an investigative report may be made whereby information is obtained through personal interviews with third parties, such as family members, business associates, financial sources, friends, neighbors, or other with whom I am acquainted. I understand that my employment with Downtown Inc. may be conditioned on successfully passing a test to detect the presence of drugs and/or alcohol, as well as a criminal background check. I understand that the first ninety (90) days of employment is considered probationary, allowing management to evaluate my performance. I understand that during this probationary period, my tenure is tentative and management reserves the right to dismiss me without notice at any time. The hiring process is not complete until this probationary period has been successfully completed. In consideration of my employment, I agree, that my employment and compensation can be terminated with or without cause, and with or without notice at any time, at the option of the company. I understand that no representative of Downtown Inc. other than the President or Vice President has the authority to enter into any agreement for employment for any specified period of time, or to make any agreements contrary to terms of this Pre-Employment Statement or Downtown Inc. policy.
